Editorial Standards
Accuracy, clear sourcing and accountability.
Reports must be supported by source material sufficient to establish their central claims. We review names, numbers, dates and context, and withhold stories when essential facts remain uncertain.
A source making a claim is not the same as independent confirmation. We attribute claims where appropriate and do not manufacture quotes, eyewitness accounts, interviews, documents or investigations.
Serious allegations require adequate corroboration and appropriate editorial review. A story that does not meet that standard stays unpublished. Readers can report factual errors using the form on each article.
